Welcome to the website of DW Sporthorses & training.
We are Danny Willems and Daisy Hoekman. We have started our own jumping stable in 2020. We train and educate horses at the pace and to the level that is appropriate for the horse. We have all the necessary facilities at our accommodation in Rucphen.
You can also contact us for sales and mediation, saddle breaking/inspection preparation, transport and lessons. More information on this can be found further down on our site.

01 Training and/or showing your horse(s)
Perhaps you want to sell your horse, but it still needs to be trained to a higher level or it just needs to gain more experience. Or would you like to let your horse gain experience and then get started with it yourself. You can put your horse in training with us from the first steps up to the international level. 02 Mediation in the purchase/sale of your horse or pony
Over the years, we have built up many contacts both in the Netherlands and abroad, which we can use to help you sell your horse or pony or in the search for your future top horse.

03 Saddle breaking/readying for inspection
We can take your horse directly from rearing to the stable. We then teach your horse from the very beginning up to and including the goal you want to achieve. Your horse can also come to our stable just to be trained and saddle broken. Do you want to prepare your horse for the ibop or do you want to try to sell your horse in an auction, we have experience in all areas and know what the expectations are with which show jumping event.

04 Training and lessons
Danny enjoys teaching young and old, horse and pony, alone or in pairs and at all levels. If you think it would be fun to take lessons, you can always ask about the possibilities. There are also regular training days that you can participate in at different locations, which are organized by different organizations.

05 Transport
We drive all over the country with our two-horse truck to get your horse or pony to its destination pleasantly and safely. This is always possible in consultation and by appointment. Our bigger truck, which can accommodate 8 horses, is also sometimes used to transport horses, on request.

Various cleaning/grooming areas
There are two grooming areas, which is nice to be able to take good care of the horses. There are also four cleaning places, which is also handy when the farrier is there, because then he has his own quiet workplace.
A covered horse walker
There is also a covered horse walker with room for 4 horses. This way they never short exercise, even if the the weather should not allow them to go into the paddock.
A covered lunging circle
To allow lunging, even when it rains.

Danny Willems
RiderAfter my pony years, I've had various opportunities to gain experience at different stables over 16 years. I am proud to say that I started my own stable on August 1, 2020, in Sleeuwijk on the premises of Heemskerk Diervoerders and Fourage. To have better and more training facilities for our horses, we moved to Hippisch Centrum Nieuw Keijtenburg in Rucphen on August 1, 2022.
I focus mainly on training and selling showjumping horses, and I also spend a lot of time giving jumping lessons to motivated combinations. Since 2019, I've been part of the permanent group of instructors for KNHS training in the North Brabant region. In 2021, I worked with the KWPN as a training rider for the jumping stallions' performance test.
Daisy Hoekman
ManagementAfter years of work experience at various sport stables, including Stal Eurocommerce, BWG Stables, Stal Roelofs, and Waldman Horses, I have been involved full-time with DW Sporthorses since early 2022. I mainly focus on the care and well-being of the horses. Danny and I manage the training and management of our horses together. I have also taken on and expanded our transport service. Maintaining social media accounts and advertising on various websites are also part of my responsibilities.
